Four day writing weekend. Eighty pages and just under half way through the script. That’s ok, right?

Loving the new Airbender trailer.  Visually it looks like a great live action interpretation of the cartoon.  Hopefully the complex narrative will get translated too!

Is it necessary to think all of your plot/scene ideas for your script will work before sitting down to write them?  In the last draft the ideas I thought would work, didn’t. Perhaps in the new draft trying to write the ideas I think won’t work, will lead me to the ones that will…

I have a hard time coming up with good character names, or as I like to call it “namestorming.”

I was fortunate enough to see this fantastic documentary last July when it made the rounds at festivals.  It’s an amazing portrait of a family and a young woman’s search for her birth parents.

There is no better song than this when you need a “Making progress on my goal montage in Act 2” (Or musical number).

Just finished “World’s Greatest Dad”.  What a dark, twisted and completely surprising film.  The trailer does not do it’s content justice. (Did I mention it was dark and twisted?)

For what its worth I think Lionsgate, known for darker fare and genre films, would be a great company to produce any future content for the franchise.

Just watched “Amadeus” for the first time. Loved it much more than I imagined I would. Gotta say when it comes to some things I really feel like Salieri.
